Strain B

Minutes
Number of Zombies

Strain B started with a genetic mutation in patient zero that caused them to turn into a zombie. This strain differs from A in that all zombies can infect new people. Zombies infected with strain B can infect 1 person every minute.

This rapid rate of infection makes strain B much more dangerous and difficult to contain compared to strain A, where not all infected individuals can transmit the infection. With each minute that passes, the number of zombies infected with strain B increases exponentially.

In the beginning, patient zero of strain B starts as the only infected individual. After one minute, patient zero infects one new person. This new infected individual can then start infecting others as well.

After two minutes, there are two infected individuals: patient zero and the person infected in the first minute. Each of them can infect one new person, resulting in two new infections.

After three minutes, there are four infected individuals: patient zero, the person infected in the first minute, and the two new infections from the second minute. Each of these four individuals can infect one new person, resulting in four new infections.

This cycle continues, with the number of infected individuals doubling each minute. After four minutes, there would be eight infected individuals. After five minutes, there would be sixteen, and so on.

The exponential growth of the infection rate makes strain B much more difficult to control. Swift and decisive action is crucial to prevent the rapid spread of the infection. Medical professionals and authorities should implement strict containment measures to limit contact between infected individuals and uninfected ones.

Furthermore, efforts should be made to research and develop effective vaccines or treatments to minimize the impact of strain B. Collaborative efforts between scientific communities, governments, and healthcare organizations are essential in combating and managing the threat posed by this highly infectious strain.
