What I learned from the video is that Valentine’s day was made to Christianize the pagan celebration “Lupercalia” which was one of the most ancient roman festivals.It was celebrated to honor Lupercus who was the god of fertility.On the day of Lupercalia, priests would sacrifice goats and dog due to the animals strong sexual instinct which made them most appropriate sacrifices to the god of fertility.Valentine's day is to be said to be named after a few Christian martyrs who the roman catholic church name saints.
