Reflect ABC over the y-axis

To create the triangle click on the button "Polygon" and to finish creating your triangle click on the first point that you created.

To reflect triangle ABC over the y-axis, we need to create the reflected image of each of its vertices with respect to the y-axis.

1. Click on the "Polygon" button to start creating the triangle.
2. Start by clicking on the first point of the triangle, let's say point A.
3. Continue by clicking on the second point of the triangle, let's say point B.
4. Lastly, click on the third point of the triangle, let's say point C.
5. Now, to reflect the triangle over the y-axis, we need to create the reflected images of each vertex. To do this, follow the steps below for each vertex:
a. Select the vertex (point) you want to reflect, for example, point A.
b. Draw a line from the point to the y-axis.
c. Extend the line to the other side of the y-axis, maintaining the same length.
d. Click on the new point where the extended line intersects the y-axis to create the reflected image of point A.
e. Repeat steps a to d for points B and C, creating their reflected images as well.
6. Now you should have a new triangle, which is the reflected image of triangle ABC over the y-axis.
7. To finish creating your triangle, click on the first point you created (point A) again.

Note: The steps provided are general instructions for reflecting a triangle over the y-axis using the polygon tool. The specific steps may vary depending on the software, app, or tool you are using to create the triangle.
