Over the past few years, my reading and language arts skills have greatly improved through consistent practice and targeted lessons. I have focused on enhancing my comprehension skills by actively engaging with texts and utilizing strategies such as summarizing, making connections, and asking questions.
What would 3 main goals be for my next semester in language arts and I read lessons
1. Improve Reading Comprehension: Focus on enhancing your ability to understand and analyze texts by practicing active reading strategies, like annotating, summarizing, and making inferences.
2. Expand Vocabulary: Work on building a strong repertoire of words by actively seeking out new vocabulary, using context clues to understand unfamiliar words, and incorporating newly learned words into your writing and speaking.
3. Develop Critical Thinking Skills: Engage in activities that promote critical thinking, such as analyzing author's purpose, evaluating information for credibility, and recognizing bias in texts. Additionally, practice constructing well-reasoned arguments and supporting them with evidence from texts.
