During the events of the Second Crusade, Jerusalem was not recaptured by any Muslim leader. The city remained under the control of the Crusaders, specifically the Kingdom of Jerusalem, which was established after the First Crusade in 1099. However, the Muslim leader, Saladin, recaptured Jerusalem from the Crusaders during the Third Crusade in 1187.
