"We have to call him, King," the guard says. The King sighs and Princess Maria was confused, "Father, call who?" she asked.

"A old acquaintance of mine," her father says. Maria knew all of her father friends, but she had never heard or seen this old 'acquaintance' of his.

Maria looks at her father as he dialed the number. She listened carefully, hoping that her father would say his name, but he never did.

Hours had past and a guy came in the room. Her father had a smile on his face, "Thank you for coming, Kim Taehyung" he says.

"Kim Taehyung? That's his name?" Maria thought to herself. The guy named 'Taehyung' had glanced over at Maria.

Maria did a little bow, hoping he would stop staring at her, "She's the one you want me to protect?" he inquired.

"Protect? Is he talking about me? I don't need any protection," she thought.

Her father nod his head, "My daughter is in serious danger. I don't want her to get caught in this mess. Please, protect her and whatever you do... keep her hidden, Kim Taehyung," her father says

Taehyung sighed before ordering one of his guards to get her, Maria looks at her father who looks away, "I'm sorry, Maria. This is for your own good," he says, and she disappeared in the distance.

Maria looks at Taehyung, "Where are you taking me?" she asked, but he didn't answer.

"How do you know my father?" she asked, and she received a chuckle from him, "Let's just say, we met through your mother,"

There was something about him that made her feel uncomfortable. The way he spoke made her some type of way and it wasn't a good feeling.

Once they made it outside the palace, they enter a limo. One of the guards opens the door, and she enters.

When she entered men gazed at her, "Hello," she says, "I'm M-" she was interrupted when one of them had said, "We know who you are, Princess Maria,"

Maria was taken aback, no one in the palace had ever interrupted her before so it was shock to her.

"I'm Jimin," a blonde boy says, "Don't worry about Jungkook. Despite his appearance he's a kind person," he added.

The car ride was silent, no one uttered a single word to each other. The car suddenly stops and Maria looks out the window only to see two men, with guns, walking towards them.

Maria gulps nervously as she thought they was going to die. But, instead they had let them past. Maria looks at Jimin, "Why would they let us past?" she asked, and Jimin whispered in her ear.

Her eyes widen in surprise, "So, he is the leader of the Mafia?"she whispered to Jimin.

Jimin smirked, before nodding his head, "Wow, would have never guess just by his appearance," Maria says.

They had arrive at building, and Maria was in awe. She exited the car, looking at the building. Jimin chuckled at her reaction, "Haven't you ever seen something like this before?" he asked her.

"My father rarely lets me leave the kingdom," she says, and Jimin chuckles again, "I guess I know why..." he says

"No, it's not that I'm a princess if that's what you're thinking. It's different than that," Maria says, and Taehyung turns around. It had seemed like he was interested in hearing the story.

"Oh? Then what is it?" Jimin asked

Maria takes a deep breath and says, "It's because an assassin killed my mom and twin sister. They was picking some berries when someone killed them unexpectedly,"

Taehyung didn't know why, but he felt bad for her. Losing her mom and sister must have been hard for her.

"I'm so sorry, Maria," Jimin said.

Maria only smiled, "It's been difficult, but I've learn to carry on. My father has been extremely overprotective because of what had happened to them,"

can you pls rewrite this?

"We need to contact him, Your Majesty," the guard insisted. The King let out a sigh of resignation, while Princess Maria remained confused. "Father, who are you calling?" she inquired.

"An old acquaintance of mine," her father replied. Maria was familiar with all of her father's friends, but she had never heard of or seen this particular acquaintance before.

As her father dialed the number, Maria watched him closely, hoping to catch a name, but he never mentioned it.

Hours later, a man entered the room. Her father's face lit up with a smile as he greeted him, "Thank you for coming, Kim Taehyung."

"Kim Taehyung? So that's his name," Maria thought to herself. Taehyung glanced in her direction, causing her to nervously bow. "Is she the one you want me to protect?" he asked.

"Protect? Is he talking about me? I don't need protection," Maria thought, feeling a mixture of surprise and annoyance.

Her father nodded, saying, "My daughter is in serious danger. I don't want her to get caught up in this mess. Please, protect her and above all, keep her hidden, Kim Taehyung."

Taehyung let out a sigh before instructing one of his guards to take her away. Maria looked at her father, who avoided her gaze. "I'm sorry, Maria. This is for your own good," he apologized, and she watched as he disappeared into the distance.

Confused and filled with questions, Maria turned to Taehyung. "Where are you taking me?" she asked, but received no response.

"How do you know my father?" she pressed, trying to ease her curiosity. Taehyung chuckled, causing a sense of discomfort to wash over her. "Let's just say, we met through your mother," he replied cryptically.

Something about Taehyung made Maria uneasy. His manner of speaking and presence affected her in a negative way, leaving her with a sense of foreboding.

As they exited the palace, they stepped into a waiting limousine. A guard opened the door for her, and she climbed inside.

Upon entering, she found herself facing the gaze of several men. "Hello," Maria greeted, ready to introduce herself, but one of them interrupted her. "We know who you are, Princess Maria," he stated bluntly.

Taken aback by the interruption, Maria was momentarily speechless, something she was not accustomed to in the palace.

"Call me Jimin," a blonde boy introduced himself. "Don't worry about Jungkook. Despite his appearance, he's actually a kind person," he reassured her.

The rest of the car ride remained quiet, with no one exchanging a word. Suddenly, the vehicle came to a halt, and Maria spotted two men with guns approaching them from outside.

Fear gripped her heart as she believed she and the others were in grave danger. However, to her surprise, the men allowed them to pass by without harm. Turning to Jimin, she asked in a shaky voice, "Why did they let us go?"

Jimin leaned in and whispered in her ear, causing her eyes to widen in shock. "So, he is the leader of the Mafia?" Maria whispered back to him.

Jimin smirked and nodded, saying, "You never would have guessed just by looking at him, right?"

Arriving at their destination, Maria found herself in awe of the building before her. Stepping out of the car, she admired its grandeur. Jimin chuckled at her reaction. "Have you never seen something like this before?" he asked with amusement.

"My father rarely allows me to leave the kingdom," Maria explained. Jimin chuckled again, commenting, "Ah, I see why now..."

"No, it's not merely because I'm a princess. It's more complicated than that," Maria clarified, catching Taehyung's attention. It seemed as though he was genuinely interested in her story.

"Oh? What is it then?" Jimin inquired.

Taking a deep breath, Maria began to share her painful truth. "It's because an assassin murdered my mother and twin sister. They were innocently picking berries when they were unexpectedly attacked."

Surprisingly, Taehyung felt a pang of sympathy for her. The loss of her mother and sister must have been devastating.

"I'm so sorry, Maria," Jimin expressed, his voice filled with genuine compassion.

Maria only managed a smile in response. "It has been incredibly difficult, but I have learned to carry on. My father's overprotectiveness stems from the tragedy that befell them."
