The Zimbabwean police have issued a warning to traders who are selling commodities at prices higher than those set by the government. The police spokesperson, Inspector Cecilia Church, stated that retailers caught flouting the government-approved price will be arrested without hesitation. This warning was given in response to the unjustified price increase of mealie meal by millers in the past two weeks, without government approval.
