One symbol I noticed in "A Raisin in the Sun" is the plant that Mama cares for throughout the play. It represents her hopes and dreams for a better life for her family. As she nurtures the plant and helps it grow, it mirrors her efforts to provide her children with a brighter future. Another symbol is the check that the Younger family receives, which symbolizes their dreams of a better life and the opportunity to escape the struggles of living in a cramped and run-down apartment. However, it also represents the complexities and challenges that come with pursuing those dreams.
