There are three types of technologic plate boundaries when two plates past each other, they form a blank boundary. A blank boundary occurs when two plates pull away from each other when two plates collide with each other, they form a blank boundary.

When two plates past each other, they form a transform boundary. A transform boundary occurs when two plates slide or scrape past each other horizontally.

When two plates pull away from each other, they form a divergent boundary. A divergent boundary occurs when two plates move apart, creating a gap or rift between them.

When two plates collide with each other, they form a convergent boundary. A convergent boundary occurs when two plates come together, leading to the formation of mountains or trenches.
