The 6 Pillars of Iman

The 6 Pillars of Iman are the fundamental beliefs of Islam. They are:

1. Belief in Allah: Muslims believe in the existence of one true God, Allah, who is the creator and sustainer of the universe. They believe in His oneness and that He has no partners or intermediaries.

2. Belief in the Angels: Muslims believe in the existence of angels who are created by Allah and carry out His commands. They are unseen beings who worship Allah and act as messengers between Allah and human beings.

3. Belief in the Books: Muslims believe in the books revealed by Allah to various prophets, including the Quran which is considered the final and most important revelation. They also believe in the original scriptures revealed to previous prophets like the Torah, Psalms, and the Gospel.

4. Belief in the Prophets: Muslims believe in the Prophets sent by Allah throughout history to guide and teach people. The most important of them are Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them). Muslims consider Muhammad as the final and greatest prophet.

5. Belief in the Day of Judgment: Muslims believe in the Day of Judgment when every individual will be held accountable for their actions in this world. They believe in the resurrection of the dead, the final reckoning, and the reward or punishment in the hereafter.

6. Belief in Predestination: Muslims believe in the concept of Qadar, which is the belief in predestination. They believe that everything that happens in the universe, whether good or bad, is within the knowledge and will of Allah. However, humans are still given free will to make choices and are accountable for their actions.
