On Slide 2 ("Purpose of the Plan"), insert a picture as follows to add visual interest

a. Use the content placeholder on the right to insert the picture in the file Support PPT19_CS1-3a_Map.png.

b. Crop out the dark red rectangle at the bottom of the picture.

To insert a picture on Slide 2 and crop out the dark red rectangle, follow these steps:

1. Go to Slide 2 in your PowerPoint presentation.
2. Click on the content placeholder on the right side where you want to insert the picture.
3. From the PowerPoint menu, go to the "Insert" tab.
4. Click on the "Pictures" button, which is usually located on the far left side of the toolbar.
5. In the file explorer window that appears, navigate to the location where the file "Support PPT19_CS1-3a_Map.png" is saved.
6. Select the file and click on the "Insert" button.
7. The picture should now appear in the content placeholder.
8. To crop out the dark red rectangle at the bottom, select the picture.
9. On the top menu, go to the "Format" tab.
10. In the "Size" group, click on the "Crop" button.
11. Handles will appear around the picture. Drag the handles to adjust the cropping until the dark red rectangle is removed.
12. Press "Enter" or click outside the picture to apply the crop.

The picture will now be inserted on Slide 2 without the dark red rectangle at the bottom.
