On the template, you will need to do the following:
1. Type your FIRST AND LAST name as it is in Connexus immediately next to the box that says BY: ! If we do not know who submitted it - you will have to redo it!
2. Make sure to explain what your product is AND how your product will help to solve the problem.
3. Illustrate your product. You can draw this by hand, take a picture of it, and then upload it to the template in the correct box OR draw it in the template using the tools provided.
4. Design a logo for your product.
5. Decide how you will make your product. Explain what kind of training your employees will need to make your product, what capital goods you will need to make it, and what natural resources (if any).
6. Finally, you will type up a short radio advertisement someone can read to advertise your product. Be sure to think about the people you are trying to target with your product, and what it’s purpose is.
7. On the 3rd page of the assignment, once you are finished, click TURN IT IN at the bottom to submit. DO NOT click the submit button until you check that you have added your FIRST AND LAST NAME and are sure you have completed ALL sections! If you need to make corrections - we will let you know.
8. On the last page of the lesson, complete the Quick Check in order to mark the lesson complete and move to Unit 8. DO NOT move on to Unit 8 until you have completed the Portfolio!! If you do, we will enter a zero in the grade book for the Portfolio assignment for Unit 6.
