1. Weakness: Lack of centralized power. This led to the writing of the US Constitution as it became evident that a stronger central government was needed to effectively govern the nation and address interstate issues.
2. Weakness: Inability to enforce laws and collect taxes. This weakness necessitated the writing of the US Constitution to establish a system of taxation and enforceable laws that would provide the government with the necessary resources to function effectively.
1. The first weakness of the Articles of Confederation was the lack of a strong central government, which led to the writing of the US Constitution in order to establish a more effective system of governance.
2. The second weakness was the absence of a national judiciary, which resulted in the writing of the US Constitution to create a separate branch of government to interpret and apply laws in a uniform manner.
