1. One weakness of the Articles of Confederation was the lack of a strong central government, which led to the writing of the US Constitution to establish a more powerful federal government that could effectively govern the nation.
2. Another weakness of the Articles of Confederation was the inability to enforce laws and collect taxes, which prompted the writing of the US Constitution to create a system that could implement and enforce laws, as well as establish a more efficient taxation system.
