The impact of technology as an external determinant on the education systems on the education system of Mozambique include intext references

According to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Mozambique has made significant progress in the integration of technology in education (UNESCO, 2016). The impact of technology as an external determinant on the education system of Mozambique is notable in areas such as the integration of digital learning tools in classrooms, the implementation of e-learning platforms for distance learning, and the use of digital devices to facilitate teaching and learning processes (Schlenker, 2020). These technological advancements have increased access to education for many Mozambican students, particularly those from rural or remote areas where traditional educational resources may be limited (Mutanen, 2018). However, challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, lack of resources, and limited digital literacy skills of teachers and students still hinder the full integration of technology in the education system (Schlenker, 2020). Therefore, Mozambique needs to continue investing in technological infrastructure and training teachers to harness the full potential of technology in education.
