“Dunder!” Yuhan told his mayor as he collapsed in the field of grass, Nolym was not a mile off, “You are too heavy, it must be your foolishness.”
“How am I a fool?” Dunder asked weakly, he pulled himself up and propped himself on an old log.
“You went in and fought against nearly sixty greenskins with only one-hundred nisses!” Yuhan reprimanded his mayor and lord, “Then you told me not to come! If I had not come you would have fallen to that giant greenskins back there.”
“True,” Dunder was forced to agree, “But you only told me that there was about twenty trasnos! Why didn’t you tell me there was sixty?”
“I thought I saw twenty!” Yuhan sighed and shook his head in annoyance, “Yet even after you saw sixty trasnos you still attacked! Why?”
“I did not see the rest,” Dunder said shamefully, “They were inside the tower, I though when I got there that there was only twenty as you had said, but more flooded out from the doors as we reached them, they drove me and my nisses across down the well-carved path.”
“Tell me,” Yuhan said after a few moments of silence, “What is your excuse for not wanting me to come! If I had come you might have saved a few more lives.”
“You were wounded and still are!” Dunder shouted angrily he stood up despite his weakness and glared at Yuhan.
“I understand,” Yuhan said at length, “We need to work together, if we do not then listen up and understand that Nolym, our hometown, the people in it and the lands about it are doomed. If we don’t fight against
the greenskins, then they will continue to grow in strength and number, until they completely overrun us.”
Setting: A field of grass near the town of Nolym
Characters: Yuhan (a member of the community) and Dunder (mayor and lord)
Recent events: Dunder and his army fought against sixty greenskins, but were overwhelmed until Yuhan arrived to help. Dunder did not want Yuhan to come because he was wounded.
Story: The story seems to be about the struggle against the greenskins and the importance of unity to overcome them.
