Define Conditional and give example.

Conditional refers to a sentence or statement that expresses a situation where one thing is dependent on another. These are also known as “if clauses” as they often start with the word “if.”

Example: If I study hard, I will pass my exam. In this example, passing the exam is dependent upon studying hard. The sentence expresses a situation where, if the condition of studying hard is met, then the result of passing the exam will follow.
