According to Britannica, key figures and leaders of the French Revolution include Maximilien Robespierre, Georges Danton, Jean-Paul Marat, and Napoleon Bonaparte. Robespierre was a key figure in the radical phase of the revolution and headed the Committee of Public Safety. Danton was a member of the Committee of Public Safety and played a role in the early years of the revolution, but was later executed. Marat was a radical journalist and member of the Jacobin Club.
