Is there a good explanation, of why a ball would roll down a steeper hill faster than a less steep one?
***I can't figure out how to explain it***
1 answer
Yes, there are two reasons. (1) On a steeper hill, the force that causes it to roll is higher. That means it accelerates at a faster rate. (2) It also has less distance to roll to reach the bottom of the hill, if the hill is steep.
