A car travels 8 km on a litre of petrol. How far will it go on 15 1/2 litres?

If a car travels 8 km on 1 litre of petrol, then it can travel 8 x 15.5 = 124 km on 15 1/2 litres of petrol. Therefore, the car will go 124 km on 15 1/2 litres of petrol.
