The Parker Solar Probe is a NASA mission that launched in 2018 to study the Sun and its outer atmosphere. It is the first mission to fly directly into the Sun's atmosphere, or corona, and is designed to help us better understand the Sun's influence on the solar system and its effects on Earth.
