If you are inside a building during an earthquake, stay inside and move away from windows, exterior walls, and hanging objects. Drop to the ground, take cover under a sturdy desk or table, and hold on until the shaking stops. If there is no desk or table nearby, drop to the ground and cover your head and neck with your arms.
