The two Jojo universes are a result of the series being split into two parts. The first part, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, follows the adventures of the Joestar family from the late 19th century to the mid-1980s. The second part, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, follows the adventures of the Joestar family from the late 1980s to the present day.
