Ash and bradley don't like each other so they don't like sitting with eachother. There are two circular tables, one with 4 people and one with 8 people. How many combinations ate there?

Would you be able to answer this step by step

Assuming there are 12 people to seat, then there are 10 to split between the two tables.

There are 10C3=120 ways to pick the 3 at one table
The other 7 must use the larger table.
That means there really are only 120 ways to divide up the people.
