Hi, I would just like to check if my answer is correct. I am working on power rules for exponents and I have x^4y^9/x^3y^2. The answer I came up with is xy^7, but my teacher has xy^5. By the y she has y^7-2 to equal the 5, but I'm not sure how she has that?? Which is correct? Thank you.

If you have written things correctly, your answer is also correct. It sounds like your teacher has x^4y^7 / x^3y^2
