Question:

Find the equation of the plane through the points (2,2,1), (1,2,3) and parallel to the x-axis.

What I found to be hard to understand:
If the required plane is parallel to x-axis, I understand the direction ratios of it is in the form of <a,0,0> where a is a real number.

How do we find this a?
