ordinarily, I'd say once is enough, but I see I misread part C on your other post. So,

(c) y = 1/2 x + 5
intersects the x-axis at (-10, 0) so AB = √(8^2 + 4^2)
(d) the tangent from B to the circle is
y = -1/2 x - 5
