Hi I Need Help pls I'm Not Sure How To Work With Complex Rational Expressions
(5/w) + (4/x) / (4/w) - (5/x)
use a common denominator top and bottom
5/w + 4/x = (5x+4w)/(wx)
4/w - 5/x = (4x-5w)/(wx)
Now, since the top and bottom have the same denominator, just divide numerators:
(5x+4w)/(4x-5w)
(5/w) + (4/x) / (4/w) - (5/x)
= (5/w) + (4/x) / (4/w) - (5/x) * (xw)/(xw)
= (5x + 4W)/(4x - 5w) , x or w ≠ 0
