Half of his coins were dimes, one-third of his coins were nickels, and the rest of his coins were quarters. How much money does Kevin have? How many slices of pizza can Kevin buy?
36/2 = 18 dimes
36/3 = 12 nickels
that means the remaining 6 coins were quarters.
So now you can figure how much money they had. Divide that by 75 cents to find how many pizza slices they can afford.
