Can somone show I how to get to the answer Fe=67.2 and Fb=78.6 using the two equations.
eq1: Fesin(82.9)-Fbsin(58)=0
eq2: Fecos(82.9)-Fbcos58+50=0
plugging in the angles,
0.99233 Fe - 0.84804 Fb = 0
0.12360 Fe - 0.52992 Fb = -50
Now solve as usual using your favorite method. Substitution seems as easy as any method.
