Well, if I were to describe the Trans-Saharan Trade in the 1400s with a touch of humor, I would say it was like a never-ending episode of "Shipping Wars: The Sahara Edition." In this trade extravaganza, European and African traders came together to barter goods, and believe it or not, one of the main commodities was slaves.
