A cylinderical tin 8cm diameter contains water to e depth of 4cm .if a cylinderical wooden rod 4cm in diameter and 6cm long is placed in the tin it float exactly half submerged and 4.75 as the new depth.Calculate the slant heit, the curved surface area and the volume.

The diagonal length of the rod is √(4^2+6^2) = √62 cm

Not sure just what you mean by the slant height, but draw a side view to see what parts of the rod are covered by water.
