Can someone help me solve this math equation? The answer is suppose to be 1 because that's what it says on my book but I got -1 as an answer?
|-24| ÷ [4(9-15)]
|-24| ÷ [4(9-15)]
= 24 ÷ [4(-6)]
= 24 ÷ -24
= -1
On the other hand,
|-24| ÷ |4(9-15)|
= |-24| ÷ |4(-6)|
= |-24| ÷ |-24|
= 1
