In an acidic solution

A. concentration of OH– > concentration of H+.
B. concentration of OH– < concentration of H+.
C. concentration of OH– = concentration of H+.
D. concentration of H+ < concentration of OH–.

In water solutions, concn H and concn OH are equal; i.e.,

(H^+)(OH^-) = 1 x 10^-14
so (H^+) = (OH^-) = 1 x 10^-7 and the solution is neutral
so when (H^+) > (OH^-) the solution is acidic
and when (H^+) < (OH^-) the solution is basic.
