I want to confirm this, only because when I searched on Google the answer was unclear and it said both:
Is zero a natural number?
no.
natural numbers are 1,2,3,4,5,...
though, as you found out, definitions may vary.
It doesn't really matter unless it's on a test. In that case, check with your teacher beforehand.
