All of us need to be kind not be mean to each other and This website is to help us learn and not to go say to people " GO DIE IN A DITCH " My question is why do we have to be mean to each other

In teaching, kindness is a term which people differ. Many kids come here looking to (cheat) by asking for answers, or being (kind) by giving others answers. Ask yourself: Is this kindness? Not everyone will agree with your thoughts. For myself, the last thing for me to do is to give answers away for a kid to turn that in for grading.
Kindness for me is to show the kid how one arrives at the answer. For some kids, it might mean go check your text, or here is a related question, or here is the way to approach that question. Of course, many will disagree with me, but I have to be true to myself.
Why are some mean to each other? I listened to our President this week, saying very nasty things about Speaker Peloski. She is a dedicated, competent, compassionate person. Why would anyone say nasty things about her....well, the answer is usually the speaker believes it makes them look stronger by putting others down. And in that, I believe, lies the answer to your question.
