Which of the following best describes association as a memory technique?

Unit 5 lesson 3 from Connexus I got yalls back.

1.B
2.A
3.D
4.B

Also I choose B

Cardi B Fan,

To associate means when you look at something, the first thing that comes to mind if something familiar. For example, you may associate pain with a sting, or cutting yourself. A memory technique can be acronyms, such as the order operations: PEMDAS (Please Excuse my Dear Aunt Sally,) which stands for the main operation types, such as addition, subtraction, exponents, parentheses, and so forth. Therefore, the most plausible answer is B.

Side note: The question essentially gives the answer

Okay thank you guys. Veritas thank you, are you an new tutor? Special thanks to Writeacher and Veritas!

Veritas -- you are NOT recognized as a Jiskha tutor. Your information is often good -- but unnecessary. We do not recognize anyone below college age as a tutor. Period.

got 100 thanks

Thx @OH MY GAWD. 100%!!

Ms. Sue, they're just trying to help people understand the question. So what do you mean it's unnecessary? We need more people like them. Also, they named themselves Veritas Homework Help for a reason you know. They're just trying to help and you're talking about how you don't recognize anyone below college as a tutor? THEY ARE FREAKING' HELPING SOMEONE WITH THEIR WORK. I don't understand why you are so mean sometimes. My work is done here (I think :/)

(P.S. OH MY GAWD is correct 4/4 100%! Thanks!)

I apologize in advance for any spelling or grammar errors that you may try and use against my case, but I had an extremely limited time slot to write my post.

its B I promise, I got 100%

I agree.

Cardi B Fan, I am a new, unofficial tutor here, yes^-^

im so cunfused :/

Thanks for the help I was a bit stumped on this.

@Ms.Sue Please do not target @Veritas Homework Help. They are only trying to help students. It doesn't matter if they are a tutor of Jiskha or not, they are still helping and giving information. I do not hate nor dislike you Ms. Sue, but I don't think you realize how mean some parents can be about their children getting low grades..

@Ms. Sue,

While a collage education is very helpful and should be required to teach in a school, for example, I disagree that your measure for bringing on new tutors should be to be "above collage age" for two reasons. 1.) that age can vary across countries. 2.) AGE MATTERS NOT if the person has a solid education and is able to prove to you what they do and don't know, and to then be placed in certain subjects or grade levels accordingly. I can testify to this very much because while I am young and in 6th grade, I have been thought to be in 7, 8, or even 9th grade at times because of the academic ability I show and my outstanding performance in my classes. I do not mean to brag, but I simply restate what my teachers have told me (as well a extremely well educated relative, like math professors and medical professionals) to make a point that if you know what you do and don't know, and work in that range, age does not matter in the slightest. To judge a potential tutor based of only their age and educational achievements on paper is irresponsible and extremely discriminatory. Especially since anyone with meeting your "standards", all be them very week in my opinion, could potentially become a tutor if they wanted to, maybe with ulterior motives, and even might have forgot 97.3% of what they learned in their entire schooling.
