I think maybe you mean
(6-x)/3 = (10x-2)/2
Just guessing from the way you wrote it
2 - x/3 = 5x - 1
3 = 15 x/3 + x/3
3 = 16 x/3
x = 9/16
then
y = (6-x)/3
3 y = 6 -3/16
y = 2 -1/16
y = 31/16
(9/16 , 31/16)
