Sorry this may sound dumb but i'm confused... is it 2x or x²
if a standard brick is appr 20 cm
how long would two bricks be ? , would it not be 40 cm?
what did you do to 20 to get the answer? Did you add 20 and 20, or multiply 20 by 20 ?
2x means : x + x
x^2 means x times x
so ......
