What kind of shape is India? Is it compact, protruded, elongated, fragmented, prorupted, etc?
How does your text define those words?
A compact shaped state is small and centralized. This type of state is the simplest to manage, since the government is close to all portions of the state
A prorupted state has a long extension, or an extended arm of territory.
A perforated state completely surrounds another.
A fragmented state that is separated by a physical or human barrier
An elongated shaped state is long and narrow.
An enclave country or part of a country that is surrounded by another.
An exclave is part of a country that is or almost completely separated from the main part of the country
My teacher says the shape doesn't have to be exact and I can do a mixture of two shapes. I think it would be compact and prorupted..? Or is there a better shape for it
India is the seventh largest nation in area. It doesn't fit the definition of compact.
That leaves a prorupted state and possibly an elongated shape.
