Check out where each of these four is on this list.

Although parts of China are densely populated, large parts have very few people. I vote for Japan.

I just took the same assessment as this one, there's a table that shows the population and square miles of each country, divide the population by the square miles and the one that is greater is the correct answer.

Here is the graph that was with the question:

Country |Population |Square Mile
|
China |1,343,239,923|9,596,961 km
Indonesia|248,645,008 |1,904,569 km
Mongolia |3,179,997 |1,564,116 km
Japan |127,368,088 |377,915 km

Ok thanks for your help!

I'm pretty sure the answer is China.

To determine which nation has the highest population density among China, Indonesia, Mongolia, and Japan, we need to compare the populations and land areas of these countries.

First, let's find the populations of each country. You can search for the most recent population statistics on reliable sources like the United Nations or the World Bank. Let's assume the following approximate populations:

A) China: 1.4 billion
B) Indonesia: 270 million
C) Mongolia: 3.2 million
D) Japan: 126 million

Next, we need to gather the land area of each country. Similarly, you can search for this information on reliable sources. Let's consider the approximate land areas:

A) China: 9.6 million square kilometers
B) Indonesia: 1.9 million square kilometers
C) Mongolia: 1.6 million square kilometers
D) Japan: 378,000 square kilometers

Now that we have both the populations and land areas, we can calculate the population density of each country by dividing the population by the land area.

Here are the calculations:

A) China: 1.4 billion / 9.6 million square kilometers ≈ 145.8 people per square kilometer
B) Indonesia: 270 million / 1.9 million square kilometers ≈ 142.1 people per square kilometer
C) Mongolia: 3.2 million / 1.6 million square kilometers ≈ 2 people per square kilometer
D) Japan: 126 million / 378,000 square kilometers ≈ 333.3 people per square kilometer

Comparing the population densities calculated, we see that Japan has the highest population density with approximately 333.3 people per square kilometer. Therefore, the correct answer is D) Japan.
