y=3/2x-1
y=-x+4
Eq1: Do mean Y = (3/2)x - 1? If so, then Y = 3x/2 - 1
Multiply both sides by 2:
2y = 3x - 2
Eq1:-3x + 2y = -2
Eq2: +x + y = 4
Multiply Eq2 by 3 and add the Eqs:
-3x + 2y = -2
+3x + 3y = 12
Sum: 5y = 10
Y = 2.
In Eq2, replace y with 2 and solve for x: x + 2 = 4
X = 2.
Solution set: (x,y) = (2,2).
