Which of the sentences below displays the correct punctuation?
A:The patient looked at the doctor as though he had never been seen her before.
B:Even though Laura is very young she us already a skilled chess player.
C:Carlos asked me to buy the gift, since I know our friend's taste better than he does.***
Is this correct?
No, not C. It has an unneeded comma in it.
Thank you! Hmmm....I really thought the comma was needed.....I guess I was wrong!! Thank you....:)
If the dependent clause comes before the main clause, you need a comma to separate the two. See sentence B -- where should the comma go in that sentence?
If the dependent clause comes AFTER the main clause, no comma is needed. See A and C.

I was already done with that part of the lesson....So what he had here I was all finished with. So, I did not need his answers. I do understand with giving all of the answers. We will not learn by not studying and understanding. Does the comma come after young? Thank you for your help.
Yes, after "young."
