Give both the affirmative and negative "tú" commands for each of the following verbs. poner

  • Spanish 2 -

    Ordinary tú commands look like the 2nd person singular of the Present Tense, without the s. comer = come / no comas
    The negative form uses the "opposite vowel" meaning -ar verbs use e while -er and -ir verbs use an a. hablar = habla/no hables escribir = escribe/no escribas

    poner has an irrgular "yo" form so the commands do not follow the regular pattern ablve.
    poner - pon / no pongas
    salir = sal / no salgas
    (for example)
