Which simple machine has more mechanical advantage a pulley or a inclined plane?

PlEASEE HELP SUPER CONFUSED

  • PHYSICS -

With a single pulley you can get a mechanical advantage of 2, no more
However with a plane you can lift any mass with force approaching zero if the incline angle is small enough.

  • PHYSICS -

So the pulley has more mechanical advantage and the incline has more efficiency?

  • PHYSICS -

normally, the incline will not be frictionless, and the losses with friction will be greater than that of a pulley
