Let f(x)=ax^5+bx^3+cx+9, where a,b, and c are constants. If f(6)=17, determine the value of f(-6).

  • Math -

look at the odd powers. the only thing left is 9.

    so f(-6)=-f(6)+18=-17+18=1

    check my thinking.
