can someone help me with the addition and multiplication principle with this equation.
2.4 + 22.0 > 55.0 - 8.6x

  • algebra1 -

    add 8.6x to both sides, subtract 24.4 from each side.

    8.6x>55-24.4

    then divide both sides by 8.6
