Find the real solutions, if any, to this equation. Use the quadratic formula.

3x^2+5x-7 =0

I get stuck when I plug in and simplify them all... I got up to
-5+_ sqrt109 /5

• Math -

the denominator is 2a, or 6, not 5

root 1: x=-5/6 +1/6 sqrt109
root 2: x=-5/6 - 1/6 sqrt 109
