If there are 700 people in the town, how many people have both cats and dogs? 22% has both cats and dogs.

I am having trouble because i keep coming up with 1.54. Just don't seem correct.Help!

    700 * 0.22 = 154

    Your numbers were correct, but the decimal point was in the wrong place.

    Remember -- 22% = 22/100 = 0.22
