In a wheelbarrow, you have 2 kilograms of soil for your garden. If 8 percent of it is organic matter( decayed materials from organisms), how many grams of organic matter do you have?

  1. 2 kilograms = 2,000 grams
    0.08 * 2,000 = ??? grams

  2. 0.08 * 2,000= 0.16 grams...

  3. You're close -- but you misplaced the decimal point.

    8% of 2,000 = 160 grams.

  5. I think these are some god answers but not as good as I'm about to say I agree with Ms. Sue let me explain when they say kilograms you add some 0s well that is what I was taught so it turns into a 2,000 and it says eight percent so 8 of 2,000 would be 160 grams
